Now that wintertime is here, it seems more and more viruses are spreading than in the past years. It could be due to Covid, several strains of the Flu, RSV, MRV and more. Building our immune systems today is more important than ever! What are the best ways to building our immune system?
To begin, you need to make the time for your overall health. This means to make your health a priority! The Fall/Winter months seems to be the worst in the East Coast (except possibly Florida). My suggestions are as follows:
- Make sleep as important as going out with a friend. It should be your best friend. If you have trouble sleeping or wake up in the middle of the night, due to menopause, stress, having to go to the bathroom, etc. you are not alone! We can discuss this further in future emails if you would like. (Just reply to me “Need Help with Sleep”)
- Eat mainly vegetables and some fruits from the colors of the rainbow daily. For example, red apple, green kale, yellow peppers, orange sweet potatoes, red beets, green arugula, etc. Aim for a minimum of 4-5 different vegetables daily and 1-2 fruits. Your body will love you if you do this consistently.
- Take pure supplements that build the immune system such as zinc, a multivitamin, vitamin c, vitamin d & k2, magnesium , b vitamins and more.
If you are interested in getting high quality supplements at a discount from Fullscript, that I have a connection with, click here and respond “Yes to Supplements.” and reply back that back to me. I can also give you personalized attention to helping you pick the right vitamins for you and your body.
4. I suggest getting an IV Drip to help your body heal faster and help build your immune system further especially If you have or had Covid or the Flu a few times. My friend and colleague has an office in Hicksville, NY and is currently offering 10% off IV’s through the end of January. He is offering a Meyer’s Cocktail IV, which includes vitamin B, C, Calcium, Magnesium, & Zinc. This IV is known to help the immune system and I highly recommend it. If interested click here and say “IV Sign Up“. I will get back to you with more info and details if interested.5. Exercise at least 3 times per week for 20-30 minutes minimum. This is a great way to keep your immune system strong and get into shape at the same time! You don’t need to do a lot, just get your body moving. If you are sick, then rest and recover first.I hope you will try to do most of the above. Let me know how it goes for you.Laura Koenig Rivkin
